happy new Z. year!

Well, technically, it's the 2nd day of the New Year but still a happy one none the less! So far, I'd say we're off to a really great start...with a long break from posting, (jeez time travels by so fast! how did October become January in what feels like a minute - 1 minute?) we're back and SO excited to announce that we've been presented with two great opportunities; to be a part of The Grammy Gift Suite and Fashion a Cure.
Z. Cavaricci Girls is hoping to be at the Grammy 'Gift Suite & Style Lounge' in Los Angeles in February. Oh yes, I'm talking THE Grammy's...a chance to hob-nob with the music elite and get their feedback on our jeans is...oh the excitement is just....oooh too exciting...
"Fashion a Cure" is a fund raiser hosted by the American Cancer Society to support those affected by cancer and we couldn't ask for a better way to start off '09 than with an opportunity to support such a worthy cause! This year will mark the second annual event presenting a night of "music, art, fashion and hope" in New Jersey on January 24...oh boy...we haven't much time so we'd better get moving!

CMJ Music Marathon in NYC...we were there!

Z. Cavaricci hit the CMJ scene last week and we got right into the mix dressing the CMJ female elite. In this pic, Elida, the lead singer of Dirty Fuzz, rocking out at her showcase at Ace of Clubs...wearing her Z. Cavaricci's!

Yes!!! It's Back

I can't belive that one of my favorite designers from my youth is back...who didn't rock out a pair of cavariccis in the 90's with their tucked in sweatshirt - and they are back with such cute designs...i am definitely picking up a pair for my daughter...so exciting

The 'archive' debate

Has anyone really seen the label in any stores over the last few years? This is the debate between me and the powers that be. I say it's relaunching as a comeback from the fashion archives...they say it never left.

it's all about the jeans

So it seems I've made my entry into the cybersphere with little or no knowledge of what I could possibly be getting into. I just hope I don't sound like too much of a wanna-be....well, I guess that wouldn't be SO bad...after all, I am but a mere fashionista in training!

This picture is the first pair of the new collection. So far, I like what I'm seeing...a skinny fit with whisker-washed rear and abstract embroidery on the back pockets.
